Booking Questions

Upon arrival for your reservation, we pre-authorize a hold on your credit card for $750. No charges will be made to your card provided all rental equipment comes back damage-free. The hold will be released upon safe return of all equipment.

For One Day Rentals, we offer a full refund if you cancel your rental 7 days prior to your reservation time.

For Multi-Day Rentals, you must cancel your reservation 14 Days prior to your reservation.

For Weekly Rentals (6+ days), you must cancel your reservation 30 Days prior to your reservation to receive a full refund. We offer a 50% refund if you cancel your weekly rental 14 days prior to your reservation.

If we are able to reschedule rebook your dates, we may waive cancellations fees as a courtesy to our guests.

To cancel your reservation, please contact us: hello@carolinalakevibes.com or call (864) 750-5253 with any questions related to our policy.

It is up to you to watch the weather and make the call within the cancellation policy timeframe. However, we do not want your boating experience to be miserable or unsafe and can either reschedule your booking or offer a rain check on a case-by-case basis.

Fuel is not included in the rental price. Each watercraft comes with a full tank of gas and you reimburse what you use at the end of your rental. You can either use our pre-paid option or we can do it for you after your rental for a 15% fee.

Save time, money & hassle with pre-paid fuel!*

Rather than waiting in line at the gas dock, wasting precious boating time, paying $5-6/gallon and risking the marinas being closed or out of fuel, let us take care of it for you and save ~10% on convenience & credit card fees. It’s worth it, we promise 😉

You will begin your rental with a full tank of gas and the pre-paid fuel fee covers the fill-up at the end of your rental.

Single Day Rentals: $100
Multi-Day Rentals: $150

No refunds will be given for unused fuel. Always leave enough fuel (at least a 1/16 of a tank) so you or we can safely get back to the boat landing.

Note: The pre-paid option is offered as a convenience to our guests and works out to be about the same as if you purchased it yourself on the lake or had us do it for you afterwards for an additional 15% fee.

*Due to the inconsistency of the marina gas docks on Lake Keowee and the lack of gas docks on Lake Jocassee, we now only offer pre-paid fuel. The fuel fee is automatically added to your booking and will be included in the final total during checkout.

Be mindful of your fuel level throughout your rental time.

For single days rentals, you should have plenty of fuel to last the duration of your rental.

For multi-day rentals, there are four public gas marinas on Lake Keowee:

  1. Lake Keowee Marina
  2. Sunset Marina
  3. Crooked Creek RV Park
  4. Cliffs Vineyards Marina

Note: Always leave at least an 1/8 of a tank so we can get from your dock to the boat landing.

For all boats, non-ethanol fuel only is required.

For jet skis, regular unleaded fuel is required.

We launch from multiple locations on the west side of Lake Keowee:

High Falls County Park
South Cove County Park
Crooked Creek RV Park

You will receive the precise location upon booking your Lake Vibes experience.

We request a minimum of 27 years old to book our boat. You must have a valid drivers license. We will confirm at the dock.

Only those who are listed on and have signed the liability & damage waiver agreement.

Safety Tip: Make sure that there is a designated spotter in addition to the operator.

Single-Day: 9a-5p
Multi-Day: 10a-6p

First 15 minutes of each rental =  Orientation

Last 15 minutes of each rental = Inspection

Please do not remove our boat from the water. If you are interested in renting a boat on another lake, please reach out to us for our options.

We include a towable tube, which you can find in the center toon storage. An air pump is located in the bow seat storage, starboard side. We currently do not include any other water toys, but you may find a bonus noodle or two!

Not at this time, but the closest place that you can rent them is at Unlimited Outfitters.

What Can I Bring?

We love pets! However, at this time, we do not allow pets on the boat to preserve the integrity of the woven flooring and the upholstery.

We are not equipped for an adequate fishing experience. We ask that you not fish from our high performance tritoon. If your main focus is fishing, please contact another service provider for fishing boat rentals.

Absolutely! We just ask that you try to bring one with wheels. If that is not possible, please do not drag coolers across the floor as it may damage the woven vinyl.

Yes! However, any operator of the boat cannot be intoxicated or under the influence as per South Carolina law. Your safety is our biggest concern, so we have the right to refuse the boat to any operator who seems impaired or reeks of alcohol.

We’ve got you covered! We will have trash bags aboard. You can find them in the storage bin under the helm dashboard. Please take all trash, recycling and belongings with you when you leave.

Absolutely! Make sure to bring at least 20% more water than you think you will need. The sun takes it out of you… trust us, we know from experience! If you run out of water, stop by any marina for provisions.
